I think we are talking about different holes. You mean the sole pattern, right? That’s true, it’s the Spezial outsole which is also used for the Samba, a model for icey soccer grounds.

Sorry I can’t answer that. I skated them for 27 hours like written in the review and then shot the pics. When I did the review the upper material
became holes before the sole had some, and all in all the sole seems pretty durable. Hope I helped you.
