Here’s a small quote to explain the “One day with..” idea a bit:

“After the first or second session it is decided whether you like a skate shoe or not. With this idea in mind, we are introducing the “One Day With…” reviews. The rules are simple: five hours of skateboarding, that’s it. Almost all qualities and malfunctions of a shoe appear, or at least can be foreseen.”

]]> Some weeks after the release of the Adidas Campus vulc review, Mark Whiteley, editor in chief of Slap Magazine, contacted me and asked if I would be generally interested in working together. What can I say, it’s Slap so I didn’t hesitate. After some brainstorming we agreed that the best way I could contribute would be the new Slap Shoe Blog.

Apart from me, Lester aka Bubblegum Tate, and the Slap staff will be part of the team. With the help of Mark, both Lester and me got a pair of Lakai MJ-5 samples from Kelly Bird at Lakai, thanks a lot! We both tested them and each one did a review. I can already reveal that my version will be different than the ones on this site,but you’ll see.

The Slap Shoe Blog will  be online soon, more info after the launch.
